Role Overview
The National Account Director, GPO, Trade and Distribution leads customer engagement with oncology and specialty immunology GPO accounts and distributors. Responsible for developing strategic account plans, negotiating contracts, removing economic barriers, and providing access strategies for product launches. Manages relationships with key stakeholders across internal divisions and external accounts, ensuring optimal product access and formulary positioning. Supports launch planning, formulary negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration to align business objectives.
Responsibilities Include- Leading account-level planning and execution for GPOs and specialty distributors
- Negotiating contracts and implementing initiatives within targeted accounts
- Managing stakeholder relationships and cross-departmental collaboration
- Developing access strategies for biologics and biosimilars
- Supporting product launches and business growth efforts
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years in pharmaceutical industry, with 8+ years in market access or account management
- Experience managing GPO accounts, especially in oncology and immunology
- Strong negotiation, leadership, and project management skills
- Proven success in formulary positioning and managed care sales
- Ability to travel up to 40%
