Pay Rate: $28.57 – $31.52/hour
Summary Description Reporting to the Plant Engineer, the Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician I is responsible for maintaining plant equipment at peak performance by focusing on reliability, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement. This role plays a key part in minimizing downtime, improving equipment performance, and supporting overall plant operations.
What You’ll Be Doing- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce equipment failures
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and robotic systems
- Repair and maintain production, utility, and facility equipment
- Install and upgrade equipment following OEM specifications
- Work closely with operations to resolve equipment issues quickly and safely
- Support and participate in TPM, SPS, and Maintenance Excellence initiatives
- Document maintenance work and track historical data for analysis
- Assist with root cause analysis (RCCA), FMEA, and analytical troubleshooting
- Maintain strong housekeeping and safety standards
- Use and maintain shop equipment such as lathes, drills, and milling machines
- Read and interpret schematics (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic)
- Assist in training other maintenance team members
- Support small projects to improve equipment reliability and performance
- If You have experience in an industrial or military technical environment
- You have hands‑on experience troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment
- You have experience with PLCs, motor controls, and industrial systems (preferred)
- You are comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with rotating shifts
- You have strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
- You are a certified welder (preferred)
- You have strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
- Associate’s degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or related field (preferred)
- 4+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or military technical field (preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working with lifts, ladders, bending, kneeling, and extended physical activity
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and off‑shift schedules
- Ability to pass mechanical and electrical assessments
- High school diploma or equivalent
