The Shipper/Receiver position is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate handling of ordered items, as well as placing all incoming materials in their assigned areas throughout the plant.
Essential Responsibilities- Assist in loading/unloading of trucks, inspecting materials for quality, and signing packing slips.
- Follow all check‑in and storage requirements as outlined in the receiving handbook.
- Notate paperwork for shipping purposes.
- Previous forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to solve problems.
- Strong communication skills.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to handle, feel, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl.
- Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent peripheral and close‑range vision required.
