Summary
To be the advocate for our guests and consistently meet our guests’ expectations by providing a friendly, helpful, easy, and safe shopping experience. Responsible for projecting oneself in a professional manner and maintaining a neat and clean work area at all times. Responsible for assisting the Guest Service Supervisor in the supervision of the Guest Service area. Responsible for accurately processing all guest transactions and maintaining proper security of the Guest Service area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Greet, make eye contact, and thank each guest that you service.
- Deliver a friendly, helpful, easy, and safe shopping experience that meets guests’ expectations.
- Project oneself in a professional manner in accordance with the dress code and personal grooming policy.
- Work in a safe manner and maintain a neat and clean work area at all times in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Assist the Assistant Customer Service Team Leader – Office in the supervision of the Guest Service area.
- Assist the Assistant Customer Service Team Leader – Office with daily cash and sales activities.
- Train and coach Guest Service teammates to ensure an exceptional shopping experience.
- Accurately process all guest transactions, including check cashing, bill payment, ATM transactions, lottery, Western Union.
- Ensure the Guest Service area and related items are properly secured while working and at the end of each shift.
- Communicate new policies or promotional programs to guests.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Must be reliable.
- Must show a high level of integrity and professionalism.
- Basic math skills.
- 6-12 months of related experience.
- Basic literacy.
- Basic computer skills.
- Satisfactory performance evaluations.
- Exposure to hot environment – occasional 1-3 hours.
- Exposure to cold environment – occasional 1-3 hours.
- Standing – constant 5-8 hours.
- Sitting – occasional 1-3 hours.
- Walking – constant 5-8 hours.
- Grasping/finger movement & dexterity (left/right hands) – constant 5-8 hours.
- Bending – constant 5-8 hours.
- Twisting – constant 5-8 hours.
- Pivoting – constant 5-8 hours.
- Squatting/kneeling – constant 5-8 hours.
- Pushing/pulling – frequent 3-5 hours up to 75 lbs.
- Lifting – occasional 1-3 hours up to 50 lbs.
- Personal computer.
- Calculator.
- Mainframe applications.
- Register.
- Money order computer.
- Banking equipment.
