• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support.
• Interpret doctors’ written instructions accurately.
• Position patients appropriately for scanning specific body areas.
• Operate computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed to enhance image visibility.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
• Follow radiation safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Use the McKesson PACS system.

Must have at least 1 year of experience and the following certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography
• State‑specific licensing when required
• Additional certifications (e.g., ARRT (R), 2 years) may be required prior to assignment
