Overview

Copley Hospital, located in Morrisville/Stowe VT, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Inventory Systems Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of healthcare inventory, tracking supplies, and ensuring the efficient flow of materials within our healthcare facility.

The Clerk assists with managing hospital supply inventory and chargeable items, as well as the restocking of items for hospital needs. The Clerk prepares shipments for and deliveries to hospital departments. Assist in other duties related within the Materials Management Department.

This position has significant potential for upward movement within the department and throughout the organization!

This position is Full-Time (PT available). Copley Hospital has a variety of shifts available across Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem needs. Please consider applying to discuss how your availability may align.

Compensation

$20-22/hour. The posted salary range reflects compensation for candidates with limited experience. An offer may vary based on factors such as experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market data. An offer of employment may be outside of the posted range based on those factors.

Responsibilities
  • Assist hospital and other system member personnel with information concerning stock orders.
  • Fill all requisitions from stock and provide prompt delivery to all departments.
  • Assist with the functions related to purchasing orders and invoicing.
  • Perform inventory counts as needed. Assist with cycle counts and all other related inventory issues.
  • Respond to customer needs in a timely manner.
  • Respond to any emergency situations promptly and provide all supplies necessary to facilitate patient care.
  • Process transactions related to filling inventory orders, and receiving items into the hospital.
  • Physically receive items at the Hospital loading dock.
  • Mail processing.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.
Qualifications

Education Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Skills Required:

Basic computer skills, Excel, Inventory Software, Customer Service Skills, Attention to detail.
