HR Manager

Salary Range: $75,000.00 To $95,000.00 Annually
The HR Manager supports daily human resources operations, driving key initiatives across employee relations, benefits administration, payroll support, compliance, and talent acquisition. This role manages temporary-to-hire staffing strategies and candidate recruitment while serving as a trusted advisor to leadership and staff to foster a compliant, positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment & Temp-to-Hire Staffing: Oversee full-cycle recruiting for direct placements as well as temporary-to-hire pipelines; manage vendor relationships with staffing agencies, track contract terms, evaluate temp-to-hire performance, and convert successful temporary workers to permanent hires.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns; facilitate workplace conflict resolution; conduct objective workplace investigations; advise leadership on disciplinary actions and performance management.
- Benefits Administration: Oversee open enrollment and ongoing administration of health, retirement, and wellness plans; manage broker relationships; resolve employee coverage and claims inquiries.
- Payroll Support: Partner with payroll staff to ensure accurate processing; audit timecards, leave balances, and deductions; process status changes, promotions, and conversions.
- Compliance & Policy: Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws (FLSA, FMLA, OSHA, EEOC); enforce employee handbook policies across permanent and temporary workforce segments.
- HR Records & Reporting: Maintain secure employee files, agency rosters, and HRIS data; generate routine HR metrics and compliance reporting.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including direct experience managing temporary-to-hire staffing vendors and workforce conversions.
- Strong working knowledge of employment laws, benefits administration, and payroll practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
- High level of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality.
