American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN with an active VT or compact RN license for a day shift at a critical access hospital.
Responsibilities- Position is in a critical access hospital setting
- Med/Surg and Telemetry patient populations, including adult, ortho, peds, observation, and step down
- Day shift schedule with varied hours
- Patient types may include Med-Surg, Ortho, Peds, Observation, Special Care, and Step Down
- Provide direct, age-specific care utilizing the nursing process under specialty and state standards
- Assume leadership responsibilities, including delegation to other staff levels
- Compliance with all state and federal healthcare regulations is required
- Active VT or compact RN license required
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC)
- De-escalation training required prior to start or a booked course at clinical orientation
- Previous experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry nursing required
