• Provide age‑specific direct patient care using the Nursing Process within the standards of care and departmental guidelines.
• Deliver comprehensive ED nursing care, including triage, monitoring, medication administration, and accurate documentation.
• Assume leadership responsibilities as needed, including delegation of tasks to other clinical staff.
• Maintain compliance with applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and organizational policies governing care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support patient and family education while ensuring patient safety.

• Current RN license in Vermont or eligibility to practice in Vermont; maintain licensure in good standing.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications active prior to contract start date; if not, a booked course must be arranged at orientation.
• ER nursing experience preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited RN program (ASN/BSN acceptable).
• Ability to work in a rotating ER environment and complete orientation successfully.
