Clinic Registered Nurse - Multi-Specialty Clinic - FTE

Overview

Copley Hospital in Morrisville/Stowe VT seeks a Registered Nurse for our Multi‑Specialty Clinic. The nurse will primarily serve the Cardiology and General Surgery clinics, providing nursing oversight, triage, rooming, BP checks, EKGs, and other outpatient nursing duties as needed.

Schedule:

Four days per week (Monday‑Friday) from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. No weekends or holidays. Full‑Time position;
Part‑Time available.

Compensation: $32.09–54.81 per hour, based on experience.

• Assist multi‑specialty clinical staff with phone triage, patient rooming, BP checks, EKGs, and other clinic activities as needed.
• Manage workload and resources effectively, adapt to changing assignments, use supplies appropriately, and request assistance when needed.
• Apply critical thinking, integrate data from multiple sources, and seek assistance when necessary.
• Communicate accurately and timely with patients, team members, and management; complete charting, protect confidentiality, attend staff meetings, and retrieve information.
• Develop and maintain caring relationships, adapt care for diverse populations, and refer concerns to appropriate resources.
• Incorporate teaching into care delivery, demonstrate competence in health promotion and disease prevention; provide information to patients/families and assess learning barriers.
• Pursue continuing education and mandatory training to maintain competence, including BLS renewal and other required courses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Required

• Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent certification.
• Active RN license in Vermont.

Experience Required

• Minimum one year of nursing experience.

Experience Desired

• Experience in an outpatient/clinic setting.

License and Certification Required

• Current Vermont licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS).

Skills Required

• Basic knowledge of cardiac rhythm and EKG interpretation.
• Cardiopulmonary assessment skills.
• General surgery assessment skills.
• Basic knowledge of cardiac medications, tests, and treatments.
