Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to an age-specific population using the Nursing Process, within established standards of care.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; monitor and document patient status; administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Assume leadership responsibilities on the unit, including delegation of tasks to other staff levels as appropriate.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and execute care plans; participate in handoffs and communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and hospital/professional policies; ensure accurate documentation and continuity of care.
- Support orientation and credentialing processes; contribute to unit safety and quality initiatives.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (in good standing)

- Certifications:

ACLS, BLS, PALS (or ENPC) must be active prior to contract start date; if not active, a course must be booked by the time of clinical orientation
- De-escalation training required
- Relevant clinical experience in medical-surgical or telemetry settings preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital setting with a rotating schedule, including nights
