Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position at a critical access hospital in Vermont, with required ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

• Active Vermont or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications required; if not active at time of consideration, a booked course must be in place by the start of clinical orientation
• Current de‑escalation training required or must be booked prior to contract start
• Experience across med/surg, telemetry, or related acute care settings preferred given the unit's broad patient population

• Critical access hospital setting
• Med/Surg Telemetry unit serving a diverse patient population including adult med/surg, ortho, pediatrics, observation, step‑down, and special care (SCU) patients
• Night shift with varied scheduling
• 13‑week contract
• Responsible for delivering age‑specific, direct patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with Department of Nursing Standards
• Assumes leadership responsibilities including delegation of tasks to other levels of staff
• Must maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal healthcare laws, regulations, and policies
