Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) needed for a travel assignment in Morrisville, Vermont.

• Deliver age-specific direct patient care using the Nursing Process within department standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the ER; respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and provide treatments as ordered; manage IVs, telemetry, and lab processing as needed
• Perform triage, prioritize care, and elevate to physicians or advanced practice providers during emergencies
• Collaborate with the interprofessional team; delegate tasks to other staff while maintaining patient safety and regulatory compliance
• Document accurately in the medical record; ensure adherence to state and federal laws, hospital policies, and patient care standards
• Apply de-escalation techniques and maintain a calm, safe environment for patients and staff

• Active, unrestricted RN license (state-specific licensure as required for practice in the assignment location)
• ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC, and NRP certifications required; de-escalation training required
• If any certifications are not active prior to the start date, a plan to renew must be in place
• Ability to work in a hospital ER setting with rotating shifts and a fast-paced environment
• Current competence in emergency nursing standards and patient safety practices
