Assistant Dairy Manager

Summary

Provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Responsible for assisting the Grocery Manager with the operation of the Dairy department, budgeting, and achievement of financial goals. Oversees clerks within the dairy department, monitoring merchandising, rotation, and inventory levels to promote optimal sales opportunities. Maintains a high level of customer service and courtesy at all times.

• Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service at all times.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
• Assist the Grocery Manager with day‑to‑day dairy operations, including merchandising, pricing, stocking, signage, planograms, displays, rotation, and inventory levels.
• Coordinate ordering of dairy merchandise and supplies, ensuring timely transmission.
• Store excess product in the cooler or designated area.
• Adhere to all company and state sanitation, pricing procedures, and regulations.
• Unload warehouse merchandise from trucks.
• Assist in training and developing new associates in dairy operations.
• Control shrinkage by following related policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies.

$18.00 – $24.00

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow‑through to achieve desired results and objectives.
