Truck Driver—Army National Guard

As a Truck Driver in the Army National Guard, you are the backbone of military support, transporting cargo and supplies that keep the Guard moving forward.

• Operate all wheeled vehicles and equipment across varied terrain and roadways.
• Oversee proper loading and unloading of cargo on vehicles and trailers.
• Manage the load, unload, and safety of personnel being transported.
• Employ convoy defense techniques and identify, correct, or report vehicle deficiencies.
• Prepare vehicles for movement or shipment by air, rail, or vessel.

You will receive 10 weeks of Basic Training followed by seven weeks of Advanced Individual Training (AIT), covering both classroom instruction and field practicals in military vehicle operation.

Through this training you can develop skills that translate to a civilian career with trucking, moving, or bus companies.

• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard.
