At Butternut Mountain Farm, a second‑generation, Vermont family‑owned company, we proudly package and ship pure maple syrup year‑round — not just during sugaring season. As one of the largest packers of pure maple syrup in the U.S., we’re looking for a dependable, dedicated Bulk Receiving Associate to join our receiving team in Morrisville, Vermont.

Responsibilities
  • Unloading, loading, organizing, labeling containers, stacking
  • Ability to weigh containers via scale system
  • Computer use for receipt entry
  • Forklift Experience (2+ years)
  • Monitor receiving dates on the Incoming Syrup Report and verify syrup is received on time
  • Communicate with Bulk Syrup Scheduler and Sample Entry to ensure syrup gets processed on time
  • Notify key people with issues pertaining to quality and traceability
  • Propose and initiate as needed improvements to material movement activities; collaborate with department managers and other departments
  • Complete receiving entries in computer system and distribute paperwork to appropriate department(s)
  • Ensure receiving area is clean and organized
  • Utilize material handling equipment to load and unload trucks as needed
  • Maintain files, respond to emails, update spreadsheets, and answer questions in a timely fashion
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of receiving experience
  • Experience with ERP and warehouse management systems in a production/warehouse environment required
  • Able to operate all types of material handling equipment
  • Proven problem‑solving abilities and analytical skills
  • Strong computer skills:
    Excel, Word, Windows Applications
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and establish short and long‑term plans to complete duties
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent reading, writing, and math skills required
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of management
  • Strong attention to detail and follow‑through skills
Hours

Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
