At Butternut Mountain Farm, a second‑generation, Vermont family‑owned company, we proudly package and ship pure maple syrup year‑round — not just during sugaring season. As one of the largest packers of pure maple syrup in the U.S., we’re looking for a dependable, dedicated Bulk Receiving Associate to join our receiving team in Morrisville, Vermont.
Responsibilities- Unloading, loading, organizing, labeling containers, stacking
- Ability to weigh containers via scale system
- Computer use for receipt entry
- Forklift Experience (2+ years)
- Monitor receiving dates on the Incoming Syrup Report and verify syrup is received on time
- Communicate with Bulk Syrup Scheduler and Sample Entry to ensure syrup gets processed on time
- Notify key people with issues pertaining to quality and traceability
- Propose and initiate as needed improvements to material movement activities; collaborate with department managers and other departments
- Complete receiving entries in computer system and distribute paperwork to appropriate department(s)
- Ensure receiving area is clean and organized
- Utilize material handling equipment to load and unload trucks as needed
- Maintain files, respond to emails, update spreadsheets, and answer questions in a timely fashion
- Minimum of 2 years of receiving experience
- Experience with ERP and warehouse management systems in a production/warehouse environment required
- Able to operate all types of material handling equipment
- Proven problem‑solving abilities and analytical skills
- Strong computer skills:
Excel, Word, Windows Applications - Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and establish short and long‑term plans to complete duties
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent reading, writing, and math skills required
- Effectively communicate with all levels of management
- Strong attention to detail and follow‑through skills
Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
