The Senior Accountant is a key member of the Finance and Accounting team, responsible for owning core accounting processes, supporting accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining strong internal controls.
- Own recurring accounting processes including journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly roll-forwards
- Play a central role in the month-end and year-end close, ensuring deadlines are met and balances are accurate
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and internal management reports
- Support cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Support manufacturing accounting, including inventory, cost of goods sold, and production-related accounting activities
- Assist with grant accounting, tracking, and reporting requirements
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and proper cutoff
- Maintain, document, and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
- Support external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor requests
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes, data flow, and reporting accuracy
- Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested by management
- Execute duties ensuring adherence to company developmental timelines and quality standards. Communicate potential delays proactively to Revian management.
- Conduct duties with integrity and respect, ensuring collaboration, teamwork, and results delivery.
Performs duties in most efficient (balancing cost and effectiveness) manner possible.
Preferred Skills andQualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–4 years of combined public and industry accounting experience Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Typical office environment requirements: reading, speaking, listening, close vision, walking, bending, sitting, using hands and fingers (i.e., typing), and occasionally lifting up to 20 pounds. There may be times there is a requirement to work outside of normal business hours, consistent with other Finance and Accounting positions.
