Senior Accountant - Straight Public Audit Background

A leading PE-backed healthcare services organization with a strong growth trajectory and active acquisition pipeline is hiring a Senior Accountant to support continued expansion. This is a newly created role designed to strengthen the accounting function and drive operational scalability.

Position is hybrid, working two days a week in the Morrisville HQ.

This is a hands‑on role with clear visibility to leadership and a defined path to promotion into a manager position within 12 months based on performance. You’ll support a high-growth division, partner cross-functionally, and help build scalable processes in a fast‑paced, acquisitive environment. Ideal for someone with a strong audit foundation who enjoys problem-solving and process improvement.

• Own month-end close (journal entries, reconciliations, roll‑forwards)
• Support GAAP-compliant financial reporting
• Partner cross-functionally with finance, treasury, and AP
• Identify control gaps and drive process improvements
• Assist with the integration of acquired entities
• Support audits and audit readiness
• Contribute to technical accounting initiatives
• Standardize processes across business units
• Lead special projects in a high-growth environment

• 3+ years of public accounting (audit) experience
• Big 4 or large regional firm preferred
• Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven
• Strong communicator with leadership potential
