City Wide Facility Solutions - North Carolina is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to join our team!
City Wide
, the nation’s leading management company in the building maintenance industry, provides solutions to a wide range of issues clients face at their facilities. In this position, you will serve 5 City Wide Facility Solutions locations, of more than 100 markets covered across the United States and Canada.
The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of 3, and working closely with the Controller.
- Backup to Payroll, A/R and A/P roles
- Credit card expense management and reconciliations
- Cross-market allocations of costs like insurance and management fees
- Ensure accuracy of financial records – reconciling all balance sheet accounts monthly.
- Create reports and financial statements, explain to management variances.
- Provide support to management as requested
- Minimum 2 years in an accounting role
- Basic understanding and application of basic accounting rules
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, and pivot tables) and accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
- Able to supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and follow up/follow through
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
