Job Description & How to Apply Below

Vice President, Revenue Operations (Rev Ops)

Campbell & James, a Hire Networks company, has been selected to lead a critical executive search for our client, identifying the leadership talent that will shape the company’s next chapter. Our client is a fast-growing B2B SaaS company in Morrisville, NC. An onsite or hybrid works schedule is preferred, but remote candidates will be considered.

We’re searching for a VP of Revenue Operations, a strategic GTM leader who will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer. This role is a cornerstone of the company’s growth strategy and is designed for an experienced Rev Ops leader who has helped scale a SaaS business beyond ~$100M ARR.

The VP of Rev Ops will shape how the company grows by helping design the revenue operating model, driving execution rigor across Sales and Marketing, and ensuring leadership has the insight and infrastructure needed to make confident, data‑driven decisions. You will serve as a strategic partner to the GTM leadership team while personally owning the processes, data, systems, and insights that power Sales and Marketing execution.

This is a hands‑on builder role with executive visibility and real ownership. You’ll be equal parts strategic operator and hands‑on practitioner: designing the blueprint, rolling up your sleeves to implement, and building a high‑leverage team over time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales process optimization, including pipeline stages, deal hygiene, forecasting, and performance reporting.
  • Stabilize the CRM and GTM data foundation, defining lead and deal architecture, governing usage standards, resolving attribution and reporting gaps, and ensuring Sales and Marketing operate from a single, trusted system of record.
  • Define CRM data models, objects, lifecycle stages, routing logic, permissions, and governance.
  • Operationalize sales methodology and execution standards that improve deal quality, velocity, and forecast accuracy.
  • Build and maintain executive‑level reporting across pipeline health, funnel conversion, rep productivity, and revenue performance.
  • Own the end‑to‑end marketing‑to‑sales‑to‑revenue funnel, ensuring clean data flow, clear lead definitions and SLAs, effective routing, and continuous conversion optimization.
  • Lead sales compensation design in partnership with Sales and Finance, including quota modeling and incentive alignment.
  • Identify revenue bottlenecks and growth constraints and lead cross‑functional initiatives to unlock performance.
  • Build and scale the Rev Ops function, including hiring and developing a high‑performing team over time.
  • Systems & tooling:
This role will own the strategy and optimization of the GTM tech stack, including CRM, marketing automation, revenue intelligence, analytics and BI tooling, and revenue systems such as commission management and CPQ. This role will also own the optimization of AI to create leverage and drive scale.
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or GTM Operations within B2B SaaS.
  • Prior experience operating at or near ~$100M ARR with multi‑team GTM complexity; experience with post M&A integrations (people, process, systems) highly desirable
  • Proven track record building Rev Ops capabilities from the ground up.
  • Deep expertise in CRM architecture (experience with Hub Spot ideal), workflow automation, funnel analytics, forecasting, sales process optimization, and GTM AI use cases and implementation.
  • Strong business judgment, analytical rigor (including advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel), and executive communication skills.
  • Hands‑on leadership style with comfort operating in ambiguity.
The client company will provide
  • Competitive pay
  • Competitive benefits, including comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans for you and your dependents which are 100% company paid, 401(k) with employer match, and company paid group and disability insurance
  • Paid Time Off
  • Casual dress work environment
  • Central office location in RTP
Qualified Applicants
  • Will be at least 18 years of age
  • Will have a minimum of bachelor's degree
  • Can read, write, and fluently speak and understand English
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Are confident using technology and navigating technology applications
  • Will be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer in the US.
  • We cannot consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work‑authorized visa.
