Job Overview
Nycom is looking for a talented, entry‑level Project Engineer interested in joining our team.
Key Responsibilities- Complete projects on time, within budget, and satisfy customers.
- Communicate accurately and timely with all departments within Nycom.
- Understand architectural plans and specifications; analyze project scope; schedule; purchase; vendor follow‑up; submittals; change orders; project close‑out.
- Coordinate MEP, vendor follow‑up, submittals, change orders, and project close‑out.
- Strong understanding of architectural drawings, specifications, and construction processes.
- Ability to learn and use construction-related software and digital tools, including common office computer applications.
- Ability to build solid business relationships with Architects, Facilities Personnel, End Users, and General Contractors.
- Degree from a 4‑year college; preference for Engineering or Construction Management.
- Competitive salary ($72,000 – $82,000 DOE)
