About the Role:

Are you a dedicated, patient, and student-centered educator who values hands-on learning? Do you have a passion for working with young children and supporting their growth in an authentic Montessori environment? If so, we invite you to join our team as a Children's House Assistant Teacher (3-6 years old) and become an integral part of our mission to guide and inspire young learners.

As a Children's House Assistant Teacher, you will:
  • Support the Lead Teacher - Assist in maintaining an engaging Montessori environment that nurtures independence and curiosity.
  • Foster a Love for Learning - Work with students individually and in small groups, reinforcing lessons and encouraging exploration.
  • Maintain a Peaceful & Respectful Classroom - Help guide students in their social and emotional development while fostering a positive classroom culture.
  • Encourage Independence - Assist with daily routines such as transitions, classroom organization, and self-care skills.
  • Collaborate with a Supportive Team - Work alongside teachers, administrators, and families to ensure student success.
  • Engage in Professional Growth - Participate in training, staff meetings, and school events to continue developing your Montessori expertise.
What You Bring:

Required Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting
  • A willingness to learn about the Montessori philosophy
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to maintain a calm, patient, and nurturing demeanor
  • High school diploma
  • Background check clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Montessori experience
  • Experience supporting students in a structured learning environment
  • Experience in a public or charter Montessori school
