Delta, founded in 1971, is a global provider of power and thermal management solutions. Its mission statement, "To provide innovative, clean and energy‑efficient solutions for a better tomorrow," focuses on addressing key environmental issues such as global climate change. As an energy‑saving solutions provider with core competencies in power electronics and automation, Delta's business categories include Power Electronics, Mobility, Automation, and Infrastructure.
Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical system engineering supports system‑level electrical and electromechanical design by developing, coordinating, and maintaining integrated documentation packages across multi‑disciplinary engineering teams. This role bridges detailed drafting and system engineering, ensuring that electrical, mechanical, and control system designs are correctly translated into coherent, build‑ready, and standards‑compliant system drawings throughout the full project lifecycle.
Main Accountabilities- Develop and maintain system‑level electrical and electromechanical drawing packages aligned with engineering intent and system architecture.
- Ensure consistency and traceability across schematics, layouts, interconnection diagrams, and mechanical interfaces.
- Act as a key technical documentation partner to system engineers, ensuring drawings reflect functional, physical, and installation requirements.
- Support change management, configuration control, and as‑built documentation across program phases.
- Improve documentation quality, clarity, and reusability through standardization and best practices.
- Enable smooth handoffs between engineering, manufacturing, site installation, and commissioning teams.
- Produce and coordinate drawings such as: system single‑line and block diagrams, electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, power distribution and grounding layouts, electromechanical enclosure and rack layouts, interconnection and interface diagrams between subsystems.
- Ensure alignment between electrical schematics and physical layouts; mechanical assemblies and electrical routing; control panels, field devices, and power equipment.
- Maintain drawing hierarchy and consistency across system, subsystem, and component levels.
- Proficiency with CAD and documentation tools such as AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical, Solid Works Electrical, Solid Edge, or equivalent.
- Experience maintaining drawing revisions, metadata, and release status; drawing numbering and naming conventions.
- Support development and enforcement of system drawing templates, symbol libraries and standards, and best practices for system documentation.
- Strong proficiency in electrical and electromechanical drafting.
- Solid understanding of electrical power distribution systems, control panels, field device integration, electromechanical assemblies and layouts.
- Ability to read and interpret system architectures, functional block diagrams, and electrical and mechanical design documents.
