Sr Program Specialist

Job Description

As a Sr Program Specialist here at Honeywell, you'll be the operational backbone for building technology projects, including Building Management Systems, HVAC Controls, Security, CCTV, and Life Safety Systems
. You'll expertly navigate the complete project lifecycle, from initial pre-sales and development through delivery and close-out for our ongoing customer and product support initiatives.

You will report directly to our Sr Program Manager and you’ll work out of our Morrisville, NC location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, your expertise in estimation, contract review, budgeting, and cost controls will be critical in streamlining processes, enhancing performance, and achieving successful outcomes.

• Managing project charters, risk plans, schedules, and financial targets for successful delivery.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Review contracts and estimates to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Monitor program performance, budgeting, and cost controls, providing regular updates to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
• Financial forecasting, working capital control, and delivering the committed P&L.

• 5+ years of experience in program or project management experience in building automation systems or data centers or construction, with a focus on estimation, project execution and budgeting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams and projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
• Experience in managing complex programs in a corporate environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• PMP certifications or State level licenses
• Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
