Investments FP&A Manager - Private Equity

I'm partnering exclusively with a growing life & annuity insurance platform to help them hire an FP&A Manager / Senior Manager focused on Investments. This role sits at the intersection of Investment Management and Finance
, owning the forecasting, budgeting, and analytics tied to the investment portfolio, with a heavy emphasis on Net Investment Income (NII) and spread analysis
.

This is a high-visibility opportunity for someone who understands the mechanics of a spread-based insurance business and can translate investment performance into actionable financial insight for senior leadership.

• Own investment forecasting, budgeting, and scenario modeling across the portfolio
• Analyze NII, spread performance, and yield metrics (new money yield vs. book yield)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual investment analytics for executive stakeholders
• Partner closely with Investments, Actuarial, Treasury, and Accounting to align strategy and results
• Monitor market trends and assess impacts to portfolio performance and capital planning
• Support management reporting, presentations, and external stakeholder requests

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, investment analytics, or investment management within insurance or asset management
• Strong understanding of fixed income investments, financial markets, and insurance accounting concepts
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with Power BI or similar tools preferred
• Exposure to platforms such as Bloomberg, Aladdin, Clearwater, or similar is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred)
