- Build, refine, and maintain a predictive revenue burn model for the Clin Pharm and Bioanalysis portfolio.
- Analyze historical project burn patterns across hundreds of studies to determine expected monthly revenue realization.
- Consolidate manual Excel‑based data from revenue recognition teams to create a unified backlog forecasting framework.
- Evaluate the timing and magnitude of revenue for studies at different lifecycle stages (e.g., startup, mid‑study, near completion).
- Identify expected revenue that will not be realized due to contract buffer overages and adjust forecasts accordingly.
- Assists in the annual budgeting process to assist with creation and/or review of budget versus Actual numbers.
- Work closely with business finance, operations, revenue recognition teams, and senior leadership to gather necessary data.
- Collaborate with the Sr. Director of Business Finance to refine, validate, and socialize forecasting outputs.
- Standardize data collection and improve the quality and consistency of manual Excel inputs.
- Recommend enhancements to forecasting processes and tools.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of forecasting data and models.
- Assists in research of inquiries regarding actual versus budget variances by managers.
- Participates on cross‑functional teams as needed to drive financial measurements/results.
- Provides support to the M&A function as requested, including financial modeling, due diligence follow‑up, documentation, etc.
- Performs special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting. Master’s degree in related field preferred.
- Equivalent years of related experience.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and a good understanding of accounting concepts.
- Demonstrated experience in ROI and financial modeling.
- Attentive to detail and accuracy of information, flexible, able to multi‑task and perform in a fast‑paced environment.
- Open to suggestions and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to interact with staff from multiple departments within the Kendle organization.
