Manager Business Practice Improvement - Strategy and Transformation

Summary: Supports the day‑to‑day activities of the Program Management function of the UNC Health System’s Transformation Office. Responsibilities include planning and administration, managing financial development, monitoring and reporting program progress to ensure fulfillment of the Forward Together 2030 objectives. As leader in the program management function, the role is focused on both execution and program management activities under the multi‑year, system‑wide strategic plan, as well as other high priority shorter‑term projects.

Responsibilities:

Education Requirements:

• ● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Science or Health Care‑related field

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

• ● No licensure or certification required.

Professional Experience Requirements:

• ● Five (5) years of management consulting, business process improvement design and implementation, project management or related business experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• ● If an Associate's degree: 9 years of experience.
• ● If a High School diploma or GED: 13 years of experience.

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

• Proven ability to lead complex project initiatives, including the ability to lead key elements of multifunction teams.
• Knowledge of project and change management techniques and tools
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, including facilitation and presentation skills
• Proven ability to excel and achieve results in a team‑oriented, matrixed environment
• Highly responsive to internal customers
