About our Team

The University Recruiting team is the face of Lenovo for all internships and early-career opportunities. In addition to recruiting top university talent, our team designs, manages, and delivers all aspects of Lenovo's intern program. From onboarding and development events to celebration activities and end-of-summer presentations, we create the full intern experience from start to finish. We build partnerships with top universities, hire exceptional talent, and ensure that our intern programs foster connection, learning, and real-world impact.

Our team is central to bringing Lenovo and Motorola the early-career talent needed to compete, grow, transform, and ultimately succeed.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will support all aspects of the university recruitment cycle by partnering closely with our recruiting team, HR, and hiring managers to understand the talent market, utilize recruitment marketing, and generate talent pipelines. You will also play a core role in shaping the intern experience, helping ensure interns feel engaged, connected, and supported throughout the summer.

Key responsibilities include:

* Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of intern-engagement activities-including professional development sessions, team events, and volunteer experiences.

* Reserve spaces, coordinate catering, prepare agendas/materials, and manage day-of logistics to ensure events run smoothly.

* Own communication to the summer intern class, including newsletters, program updates, reminders, and event promotions.

* Partner with another intern focused on employer branding on the university team to co-create content, highlight intern stories, promote events, and amplify program visibility across digital platforms.

* Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring interns have a seamless start and close to their experience.

* Support recruitment initiatives including job postings, sourcing outreach, and candidate pipeline tracking.

* Develop and maintain reports capturing candidate progress, event participation, and program feedback.

You will have the opportunity to directly shape the experience of our interns and make decisions that influence program culture, community building, and overall engagement.
