As HR Coordinator you will manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the Human Resources department at SCHUNK USA while facilitating a positive relationship between personnel and management.
Tasks and Responsibilities:- Recruitment Assistance:
Partner with hiring managers to align on position advertisement content, posting job openings on job portals, coordinating interviews, and complete background checks. - Onboarding and New Employee Orientation:
Deliver a smooth onboarding experience by setting up new hire HRIS profiles, coordinating the orientation process, and fostering positive first interactions for new employees. - Time and Attendance:
Administer employee leave, time-off requests, and attendance tracking in accordance with company policies. - HR as a Service:
Support employees as the first point of contact for questions on benefits, payroll, and company policies, ensuring timely and accurate responses. - Administrative Support and Data Management:
Assist in ensuring accurate maintenance and updating of employee files, records, and benefits in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). - Policy and Procedure adherence:
Ensure that HR policies and procedures are upheld and adhere to applicable laws and regulatory standards. Support HR compliance programs and statutory reporting requirements. - Rewards and Recognition:
Maintain the service award program and other HR led rewards and recognition programs and events. - HR projects:
Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aligned with the company’s HR priorities, such as performance review cycles and annual benefits open enrollment process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
- Proficiency with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and payroll software, preferably Paylocity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in data entry, filing, record keeping, and other administrative tasks
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
