Description and RequirementsOur AI Infrastructure & Cloud Services Technology and Services Division (TSD) is growing its presence at our second global HQ site in Morrisville, NC. We're looking for a Network Engineer with experience handling global network operations. This position is hybrid at our Morrisville site 3 days per week.
Responsibilities- Design and deliver network solutions and services for both internal and external customers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, ensuring timely and effective remediation.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes to identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
- Take new advantage to network support, especially AI technology.
- Continuously optimize network performance to ensure stability, reliability, scalability, and security.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, and actively support knowledge sharing across the network team.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in network operations.
- More than 5 years of experience in network operations, with a strong background in maintaining and supporting large-scale network infrastructures. Experience with multinational projects is preferred.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, Wireless) and network devices (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving abilities.
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership of tasks and provide support beyond defined boundaries when needed.
- Hands‑on experience with network products from Cisco, Arista, Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and F5.
- Holder of one or more professional certifications such as CCNP (or equivalent).
- Extensive experience in designing and managing large-scale wireless campus networks.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with automation technologies and the ability to collaborate efficiently with development teams.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with experience working across global teams.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
