• Develop custom SAS or equivalent programming code to generate summary tables, data listings, graphs, and derived datasets as specified in the statistical analysis plan and programming specifications.
• Ensure outputs meet quality standards and project requirements, performing validation programming and collaborating with other programmers, biostatisticians, and project team members to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain project documentation, testing, and verification/quality‑control documents to ensure inspection readiness.
• Manage scheduling and time constraints across multiple projects, set priorities from management, and adjust daily workload accordingly.
• Develop specifications for datasets and outputs of any complexity, anticipating programming issues and defining variables to minimize rework.
• Prepare for internal meetings, contribute ideas, and demonstrate respect for others’ opinions.
• Conduct effective internal meetings, distribute relevant information in advance, ensure minutes are recorded, and follow up on action items.
• Support project business needs by collaborating with others on projects and initiatives.
• Negotiate and establish accurate time estimates for programming activities, completing deliverables within allotted time frames.
• Lead statistical programming activities, directing the work of other programming personnel and monitoring progress on deliverables.
• Review project documentation (Statistical Analysis Plan, mock shells, programming specifications, annotated CRFs, SAS database design) and provide feedback to reduce inefficiencies.
• Participate in sponsor meetings, kickoff meetings, and bid‑defense meetings as the statistical programming representative.
• Mentor programming personnel by developing training courses, presenting materials, reviewing work, and providing feedback.
• Transfer deliverables and perform other related duties as assigned.
• Travel minimally may be required.
• Must be located in the US, Canada, or the United Kingdom with no sponsorship needs.
• Hiring is at the Senior level only for North America.
• Graph experience and experience writing ADaM specifications are required.

• Undergraduate degree in a scientific or statistical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and demonstrated programming experience.
• Extensive programming experience in SAS or equivalent software, preferably in a clinical trial environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
