Evening Cleaner​/Janitor

Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facility, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role is essential in upholding the standards of hygiene and appearance within our commercial and residential spaces. Hours for this role are 1:30pm - 9pm

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Conduct industrial and commercial cleaning duties, ensuring all areas are sanitized and well-kept.
• Carry out custodial tasks such as emptying trash bins, cleaning restrooms, and replenishing supplies.
• Maintain facilities by performing minor maintenance tasks and reporting any issues that require attention.
• Execute floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, and waxing as needed to preserve floor integrity.
• Assist with porter duties, ensuring common areas are tidy and presentable at all times.

• Proficiency in industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
• Experience in commercial cleaning settings with a strong understanding of custodial practices.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance protocols to ensure operational efficiency.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Familiarity with floor care methods including buffing and waxing processes.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks.
