PositionSummary
Project Quantum is a global strategic initiative within the Teleflex organization. Key objectives include designing and deploying global product lifecycle management processes and introduce a master data management system for management of product related data for consistency and accuracy. The primary focus the Global Senior Manager for Quality for Project Quantum is to be the voice of quality and ensure alignment with the Business Units, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing and Operations teams to assist them in achieving their Product Lifecycle Management business goals.
PrincipalResponsibilities
- Project Champion
- Globally represent your functional area
- Explain existing processes and capable of articulating existing pain point on product data process.
- Actively involved in requirements identification and design of future process
- Support global PLM process design
- Support designing DMR/DHF data taxonomy
- Support metrics definition
- Drives consensus globally on the to be processes and system design
- Liaise with other functions to gather inputs and outputs globally and support integration of requirements into the global change management process.
- Considered Superusers of the system and process.
- Support training rollout
- Responsible to execute UAT and signing of associated test scripts
- Test the new system in CRP and UAT and provide feedback and sign offs.
- Develop robust training for day to day activities on new system.
- Degree or equivalent in Sciences/Medical Technology
- 10 years of experience in medical device industry
- 10 years of experience managing teams (local and/or remote)
- Broad range of experience in the Quality field
- Demonstrated leadership/management experience
- Knowledge of change management and design control process
- Proven experience to lead requirements gathering, future state design and fit-gap analysis workshops with business stakeholders.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills, developing creative solutions and meeting project objectives.
- Proven facilitation skills across multiple business disciplines, organization levels and geographies.
- Excellent business acumen and communication skills.
- Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong project management and organizational change management skills desirable
