The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician II for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Morrisville, NC. Details for the position are as follows:
- Pay: $20-21.34/hr.
- Shift: Mon-Fri; 2:30pm-11:00pm
- 6-month assignment with possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
- Manufacture and process oligonucleotides using automated synthesizers, including cleavage, deprotection, modification, and preparation for shipment
- Perform QC-related activities including quantification, sampling, data review, and pass/fail decisions per SOPs
- Operate laboratory equipment and software, perform basic troubleshooting, and maintain accurate production records
- Follow safety, contamination control, and SOP requirements in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Work collaboratively to meet production goals while handling high-value materials with precision and care
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow SOPs and work instructions accurately
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort using laboratory software systems
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and meet physical demands of an onsite manufacturing role
