In collaboration with manager, the Sr. Marketing Content Manager will independently define, develop and implement marketing content generation strategy – including primarily, brand and product messaging and positioning, traditional and digital asset generation to support commercial marketing efforts. The Manager will maintain a broad understanding of traditional marketing channels, the marketing capabilities of Teleflex Vascular, as well as the latest trends in emerging media and digital channels.
The Manager will lead digital marketing and marketing automation efforts for the business as a secondary priority to content generation. It is the Manager’s responsibility to understand current and potential Vascular Access audiences and create relevant audience personas, interpret and extrapolate the customer needs and market trends to create a robust asset generation plan and editorial calendar for designated product lines within Strategic Business Unit.
The Manager will partner with cross-functional marketing teams, as well as key strategic marketing agencies/partners to ensure the objectives of Vascular marketing are being met.
- In collaboration with manager and portfolio owners, drive content generation strategy and tactics for the Vascular Access business unit
- Drive idea and concept development process as needed for content development, to include Total Customer Insights and other activities — Global Voice of the Customer (VOC)
- Develop content for all Vascular portfolios including market development, training, education and sales/marketing collateral (publications, brochures, electronic media and marketing communication / education content) in alignment with Vascular brand strategy and Teleflex brand identy
- In collaboration with portfolio owners, develop customer testimonials, white papers and other resources needed to drive thought leadership
- Maintain knowledge of key product attributes and competitive differentiation to effectively position products in both traditional and and digital channels
- Develop and / or consult on global product positioning and promotional initiatives
- Consult in the development of commercial tactical plans and commercial activity
- Lead strategy development for Digital Marketing / Marketing Automation efforts in colloboration with the Director, Global Marketing
- Manage asset generation matrix in partnership with portfolio owners
- Manage the administration and maintenance of the claims matrix in partnership with portfolio owners
