Position Summary

The Morrisville, NC based Marketing Communications Specialist will support the development of communication strategy and tactical execution in support of the overall marketing goals of the Anesthesia & Emergency Medicine business unit. This involves a high level of cross‑functional collaboration with stakeholders in Product Marketing, Clinical & Medical Affairs, Legal/Compliance, and Regulatory, as well as other functional areas as determined by the project.

Beyond successful development and execution, the Marketing Communications Specialist should seek to establish metrics to measure and report on campaign performance. This role will also be responsible for ensuring communications materials adhere to Teleflex brand standards, corporate identity guidelines and company policies governing such materials.

This is a hybrid in‑office/remote role based in the Raleigh/Durham/Morrisville, N.C. area.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product managers to develop marketing communications plans to support business objectives.
  • Lead the day‑to‑day tactical execution of communication materials including collateral, print and digital advertising, email marketing, website content and video development.
  • Manage external vendors (agencies, printers, photographers, etc.) to complete projects on strategy, on time and on budget.
  • Master the Mar Com process, driving cross‑functional collaboration to produce compelling communication materials.
  • Participate in the planning of trade shows, conferences, symposiums and other events; lead the execution of communication materials and deliverables.
  • Manage translation of key marketing communication materials for the French Canadian market.
  • Oversee inventory of marketing collateral, managing reprints and administrative update of materials as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain project management documents and calendars.
  • Financial management, including budget tracking and invoice management.
  • Demonstrate strategic communication leadership, driving best practices to achieve business objectives.
Education / Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (in communications, design, marketing, business, or associated fields).
  • 2+ years professional experience including direct experience in marketing communications, brand management, design, or related areas.
  • Marketing agency experience a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated success working in a remote environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
