Clinical Nurse II-Fertility

We are seeking a Clinical Nurse II in our Fertility Center located in Morrisville, NC to be an integral member of the healthcare team and provide direct and indirect care to patients.

Job duties and responsibilities include:

• Rooming patients, collecting histories, and charting
• Ensuring medications are up to date and all information is correct prior to visit
• Providing care in recovery/procedure area per provider orders
• Fulfilling EOC requirements daily including safety for staff and patients
• Medication and treatment classes for patients
• Obtaining authorizations and completing FMLA paperwork for patients
• Coordinating patient fertility cycles via nurse triage, in-basket communications, and medication refills
• Acting as clinical liaison between patients, clinical and clerical teams
• Adhering to professional standards, policies, procedures, EOC, JCAHO, and infection control
• Delegating tasks and supervising activities for other licensed and unlicensed care providers
• Performing other related duties incidental to the work described herein

Rotating weekend requirement, no more than one weekend per month.

Job eligibility requirements include:

• Graduation from an accredited Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program
• 1-2 years RN experience
• IV/Venipuncture Fertility preferred
• OB/GYN, L&D, Women's Health experience will be prioritized and is strongly preferred
• BLS required
