Location: Morrisville, NC 27560 - 100% Onsite
Pay Rate: $19 - $20/hr, paid weekly
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM-12:00 AM
Contract Duration:1 Year Contract

The Equipment Testing Assistant supports laboratory and technical testing operations by preparing samples, setting up test equipment, performing wireless radio testing, recording results, and maintaining accurate test documentation.

This role works closely with senior technical staff and engineers and requires the ability to follow established test procedures, interpret technical drawings and schematics, analyze test results, and maintain laboratory equipment and work areas.

• Set up, adjust, and operate standard laboratory testing equipment according to established test plans and procedures.
• Perform wireless radio testing and process laboratory samples.
• Record observed and calculated test data accurately.
• Read and interpret technical blueprints, circuit schematics, wiring diagrams, and operating procedures.
• Monitor test performance and evaluate sample behavior during testing.
• Analyze test results and prepare charts, graphs, and technical summary reports.
• Maintain and calibrate assigned testing equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping of laboratory work areas.
• Enter, retrieve, and maintain testing information using laboratory information systems and software.
• Communicate with engineers and internal teams regarding test setup, procedures, and results.
• Follow all laboratory safety procedures, security requirements, and company policies.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or technical field required.
• Experience with wireless radio testing preferred.
• Working knowledge of laboratory equipment and laboratory information systems (LIMS).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Ability to organize test data and create charts, graphs, and technical reports.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to follow established testing procedures and safety requirements.
• Comfortable working 2nd Shift and 100% onsite for the full assignment.
