The Black and White Coffee team is seeking winning personalities to join the team in the RDU Airport!!
As the FOH Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fast/casual restaurant inside RDU Airport. You will oversee the front-of-house (FOH) operations, supervise and lead the FOH team, and maintain excellent guest service standards. Your primary goal will be to create a positive dining experience for our guests while upholding the restaurant's policies and procedures.
Reports to:
* Restaurant Management Team
Responsibilities:
* Advancing the Grove Bay Mission Statement and Core Values
* Delivering exceptional hospitality to all guests
* Upholding all core Standard Operating Procedures
* Coaching in the moment of hourly team members
* Training and development of new team members
* Handling any guest issues that arise in a respectful manner
* Following all opening and closing procedures
* Cash handling following Grove Bay SOP
* Ability to expedite in adherence with the Grove Bay SOP
* Strong understanding of all operational systems - Toast, Open Table, R365
* Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant - ensure the restaurant is showroom ready at all times
* Must work a minimum of six hours during the Supervisor shift
Qualifications:
* Must be an A Player and endorsed by Management Team, Director of Operations, and Training Department
* Must have worked within venue or other Grove Bay restaurant for minimum of 4 months Prior
* Supervisor experience
* Multiple language abilities a plus; fluency in English is required
Skills & Knowledge:
* Strong attention to detail and focus on process excellence
* Ability to learn and bring "out of the box" ideas to the team
* Genuine enthusiasm and aptitude for serving people
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Must possess strong communication and listening skills
* Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills through the ability to diagnose and implement solutions
* Ability to set and meet deadlines
* Successful completion of Grove Bay's training program, including all EdApp training content
Certifications:
* Food and Alcohol Safety training (Serv Safe)
Physical Demands:
* Ability to move throughout the venue during shifts (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods of time
* Ability to sit for extended periods of time
* Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists
* Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear
* Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hand above shoulders
* Ability to occasionally, regularly, frequently move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 10 pounds
* Ability to turn or twist body parts in a circular motion
* Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environment
