Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.;
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.;
Control access by monitoring entry points, checking credentials as required, and directing visitors to the appropriate destinations in accordance with site procedures.;
Complete security-related reports and logs, communicate observations to site leadership, and participate in required briefings and/or post orders.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing initial incident details to the appropriate personnel.
