Java Developer (Hybrid)

Morrisville, NC

• Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday:
  In-office (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
• Monday and Friday:
  Remote

We are looking for a talented Java Developer to join our growing development team. This hybrid position is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable backend applications, solving complex technical challenges, and collaborating with both internal teams and customers.

The ideal candidate has experience developing enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and SQL/No

SQL databases, along with a strong understanding of software development best practices.

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server and/or No
  
  SQL database queries.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Implement secure coding practices and data protection standards.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve support tickets and technical issues.
• Document customer interactions, technical solutions, and development activities.
• Work effectively in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Support the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 2-4 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong experience with Java 11 and Java 17.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and the Spring Framework (Spring Data, Spring Security, etc.).
• Experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or No
  
  SQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
• Experience with Hibernate/JPA.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, software design patterns, and SDLC best practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers both remotely and in person.

• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, or Gradle.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Knowledge of JMS/Messaging technologies.
• Experience with XML, SOAP, and REST integrations.
• Familiarity with Java EE (J2EE) technologies.

As a Java Developer, you'll play a key role in designing, building, enhancing, and supporting enterprise software solutions. You'll work closely with engineering teams and customers to develop scalable applications, improve system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.
