Job Summary

The Warehouse Specialist at Sun Tech Medical is a critical role responsible for the accurate and compliant handling, storage, and shipment of clinical‑grade blood pressure technology and related materials. This position supports both product shipments and the receipt of raw materials, adhering to company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards. The role ensures the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory and kitting processes, supporting our mission to create innovative products that improve healthcare for everyone.

Duties

and Responsibilities Shipping Responsibilities
  • Process and prepare outgoing shipments in alignment with regulatory and company standards.
  • Verify shipment accuracy against packing lists, invoices, and shipping documents, ensuring high‑quality and safe packaging. Maintain accurate shipping records in the ERP system and label shipments as required.
  • Coordinate with carriers to schedule and track shipments, resolve delivery issues, and support a positive customer experience.
  • Work closely with Customer Service, Production, Receiving, and Inventory teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Receiving Responsibilities
  • Receive and inspect parts and materials, confirming that incoming shipments match purchase orders in terms of items, quantities, and condition.
  • Accurately log received materials into the ERP system, label as needed, and store items in the designated warehouse locations.
  • Sort materials by part and lot numbers, collaborating with Purchasing, Production, and Quality teams to resolve discrepancies or quality concerns.
  • Notify Quality or Engineering teams if incoming materials require inspection.
Inventory Responsibilities
  • Assemble kits with parts and materials based on work orders and production schedules.
  • Ensure all necessary components are accurately picked, packed, and labeled to meet company standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
  • Report inventory discrepancies and support the resolution of stock‑related issues.
  • Monitor kit stock levels, ensuring adherence to established thresholds and flagging potential shortages.
  • Inspect parts and materials for defects or damage prior to kitting to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Complete and maintain all necessary documentation for kitting and inventory processes, including labels, packing slips, and inventory logs.
General Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines, Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Recommend process improvements to increase the efficiency and accuracy of the shipping and receiving process.
  • Complete all required training and certifications as needed to perform inventory, shipping and receiving duties.
  • Maintain open communication and collaboration with team members, supporting an environment aligned with Sun Tech Medical’s values of integrity, quality, and respect.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or coursework in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations, ideally within a regulated industry such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or electronics.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word), with strong attention to detail for accurate record‑keeping.
  • Knowledge of packaging, labeling, and handling protocols for regulated products and a commitment to quality standards.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments to resolve issues and maintain inventory accuracy.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds regularly.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform tasks in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
  • Must follow all safety protocols and use any necessary safety equipment when handling materials.
