Structural Steel Estimator

A leader metal fabricator located in Morrisville, PA is searching for an experienced Structural Steel Estimator to join their team. The company specializes in railroad, transportation and other large fabrication jobs. This person will be responsible for preparing bids and proposals for a variety of fabrication projects, including structural steel, simple bridge construction, railroad catenary structures, and more. Will analyze engineering drawings, interpret project specifications, collaborate with engineers and shop fabricators to ensure accuracy, and extract key information from bid documents to produce timely and competitive quotes.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare cost-effective estimates for a wide range of steel fabrication projects, ensuring competitiveness and accuracy;
Collaborate with engineers and shop foremen to develop accurate quotes and manage projects through all phases of production to successful completion;
Anticipate and coordinate resource requirements across multiple projects to meet objectives and deadlines. #IND
