RN Manager – NICU and Pediatric

Role Overview:

This position oversees nursing operations within a hospital unit, ensuring a safe, efficient, and patient-centered care environment.

• Leading and supervising nursing and ancillary staff, fostering a high-performing team, and developing action plans for improvement.
• Collaborating with physicians and staff to coordinate patient care and ensure quality outcomes.
• Monitoring compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards through audits and data analysis.
• Conducting rounds, resolving operational issues, and facilitating effective communication among care team members.
• Managing staffing needs, scheduling, and resource allocation to maintain optimal patient care and operational flow.
• Promoting a culture of safety, open communication, and continuous improvement, while ensuring staff development and adherence to standards.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (required);
  Master’s preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practice state (required).
• Experience in acute care nursing, leadership, and staff management (preferred).
• Certifications in BLS (required) and CPR; specialty or administrative certifications (preferred).

Additional duties include coordinating patient throughput, ensuring safety protocols, and participating in emergency preparedness. The role demands strong judgment, communication, and leadership skills to support high-quality patient care and staff engagement.
