Job Summary

The School of Education in the College of Arts and Sciences at Clayton State University is seeking applicants for the position of Part-Time Instructor of Math Education/Teacher Education to teach undergraduate Education courses beginning in the Summer of 2026. The successful candidate will be expected to teach sections of Elementary and Math Education courses (1-2 courses per semester).

Responsibilities

* Teach introductory Education and Math Education courses in a variety of delivery formats (online, in-person)

* Collaborate with School of Education faculty to ensure success of the School of Education's teacher candidates

Required Qualifications

* Earned doctorate in Education (doctoral candidates considered with requisite EDUC/MATH course experience)

* Experience teaching Elementary Education and Math Education courses at the university level

* Extensive experience in teaching and research related to P-12 education

* A commitment to responsive pedagogy and to developing strong educators across disciplines and content areas
