Part-Time Instructor

Located in Morrow, Georgia, Clayton State University is roughly 15 miles southeast of downtown Atlanta. The Health Care Management Program at Clayton State University is seeking applicants for a Part-Time Instructor to teach three to six credit hours per semester starting August 1, 2026.

Approximately 60 percent of this position is involved with teaching a variety of courses in the Health Care Management and/or Health Sciences undergraduate programs. (Up to six credit hours per semester) Approximately 30 percent of this position is involved with lecture preparation, grading exams and papers, meeting with students. Approximately 10 percent of this position is involved with participation in Health Care Management, HCMG, Departmental curriculum activities.

Master's Degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Health Sciences, Health Education, or related field. Demonstrate the ability to teach courses in the Health Care Management program at the undergraduate level. Awareness and sensitivity to the educational goals of the institution. Commitment to active learning and the use of technology. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Doctorate Degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Health Sciences, Health Education, or related field. Ability to teach healthcare concepts, theories, and applications. Professional and/or managerial experience in the healthcare arena.
