ASC Team Lead

Overview

We offer various services including cataracts, glaucoma, retina, family eye care, contact lenses, cosmetic, oculoplastic & reconstructive surgery with multiple locations on the south side of Georgia.

• Support daily workflow across pre‑op, OR support, and PACU to include obtaining intravenous access
• Ensure surgery schedules, logs, and documentation are accurate and complete
• Monitor patient flow and proactively address operational bottlenecks
• Provide daily direction, coaching, and support to clinical staff
• Reinforce adherence to policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Assist with onboarding and training of new team members
• Support supply management and cost‑effective resource utilization
• Escalate operational or performance concerns to leadership appropriately
• Maintain readiness for regulatory and accreditation standards

• Prior leadership or charge experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to lead peers in a fast‑paced clinical environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage conflict professionally
• Working knowledge of surgical workflow and documentation standards
• Must be able to organize and set priorities for work to be done
• Maintains current BLS certification and completion of required annual in‑services
• Active LPN license or senior MA experience in a surgical setting preferred
