We are seeking a caring and dependable Director of Rehab at Lake City Center for Nursing and Healing. As Director of Rehab, you'll play a pivotal role in our rehab department and the lives of our residents. From routine tasks to scheduling staff for assigned residents to perform rehab, coordinating times, and communicating with residents, families and your team regarding progress.
Your contributions will directly impact the comfort and well-being of our residents and staff.
- Act as a team leader and mentor to all rehab team members.
- Ensure accurate identification of patients payer sources.
- Obtain proper authorization for patients with various payer sources.
- Oversee the correct utilization of HCPCS codes.
- Serve as a liaison between the rehab department and the regional manager.
We are seeking a qualified professional with the following qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited university with an MS, MA, BS, BA, or Associates degree in Physical, Occupational, or Speech Therapy or a licensed PTA or COTA.
- Holds a current license and/or registration in the state (as applicable).
The successful candidate should be able to perform physical tasks, including transferring patients, lifting weights, transporting patients, and administering treatment on the mat. Demonstrated knowledge of and adherence to proper body mechanics during patient treatment is essential.
