Senior FinOps Analyst

Cox Automotive seeks a Senior Fin Ops Analyst to optimize cloud and technology spend across our telecommunications and media platforms. You will partner with engineering, finance, and product teams to forecast usage, build cost models, and identify savings opportunities. Responsibilities include monitoring cloud costs, implementing tagging and allocation frameworks, creating dashboards, and advising leaders on budget impacts. You'll champion Fin Ops best practices, support vendor negotiations, and drive continuous improvement in unit economics within a collaborative, data-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze cloud and technology spend across business units
• Develop cost models, forecasts, and budgets for cloud and software usage
• Implement and refine tagging, allocation, and chargeback frameworks
• Build dashboards and reports to track KPIs and unit economics
• Partner with engineering, product, and finance to identify savings opportunities
• Provide recommendations to leadership on optimization and budget impacts
• Support vendor evaluations and contract/commitment utilization analysis
• Promote Fin
• Ops best practices and train stakeholders
• Collaborate in cross-functional initiatives to improve cost efficiency
• Continuously enhance Fin
• Ops processes, tools, and data quality
