Financial Controller

Reynolds-Warren is a family-owned heavy construction equipment distributor in business since 1977 with 3 locations in Georgia. We are looking for a hands-on Controller and Office Manager to run day-to-day accounting, tighten reporting, manage HR, and improve processes as we scale.

You will lead a small team (3 current staff) and own the monthly close with a target completion date of the 15th of each month. This is a working manager role: you will be in the details, and you’ll also improve the way the department runs. Process improvements are expected and supported.

• Lead the monthly close and deliver accurate financial statements by the 15th
• Oversee AP/AR, payroll coordination, GL, reconciliations, HR, and financial reporting
• Manage cash flow visibility, budgeting, and forecasting support for leadership
• Maintain strong internal controls; identify and implement process improvements
• Coordinate with external CPA firm for review of the monthly close (at first) year-end close, tax work, and advisory needs
• Manage floorplan, inventory accounting/reconciliations, and OEM/manufacturer statements
• Provide clear reporting and analysis to leadership (margins, service performance, rental performance, inventory, working capital)
• Supervise and develop the accounting team and related administrative functions (including title work as applicable)

• Close is consistently on time (by the 15th) with clean reconciliations and fewer surprises
• Clear cash reporting and forecast cadence in place
